The first thing that comes to mind when I hear about a boat from the late 70s is the movie Jaws…you know, the salty old boat in the middle of the ocean taking on water with smoke billowing out of the engine compartment which, consequently, gets bitten in half by a rogue Great White shark. Well, this beautiful 37 foot Tartan puts that vision to bed…possibly for good!
Instead of looking at worn down fiberglass, dirty corners, spiderweb cracks, and gray teak you see a boat that has been looked after and taken care of like it was purchased brand new yesterday. Of course, like any used boat, you have a few spots that need attention, but those are few and far between on this boat. This is definitely a must see and please email or call me if you would like to see additional high-resolution photographs and/or schedule a personal visit ( matt@boatshedlakemichigan.com ).
